Supply Cover Teacher – Secondary School – Farnborough, Hampshire
Start Date: Immediate | Contract Type: Full-Time, Adhoc basis
Salary: £90 – £140 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking motivated Supply Cover Teachers to work in secondary mainstream schools in Farnborough on a full-time, adhoc basis starting immediately.

In this position, you will provide cover in the absence of permanent teaching staff, maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment. You will collaborate with school teams to ensure continuity of lessons and help students remain focused and motivated throughout the day. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility or students aiming to gain practical experience in a school setting.

Supply Cover Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons and supervise classes based on provided plans
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Support individual pupils or small groups as needed
• Monitor and report on pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
• Encourage a positive and productive learning atmosphere
• Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols
• Communicate effectively with teaching and support staff
• Assist with classroom preparation and resources as required
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience teaching in secondary school classrooms is desirable
• Confident in managing a class and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Ability to deliver lessons across multiple subjects or key stages if required
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive with a professional attitude
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply via GSL Education
