Kick-start your career on one of the UK’s largest and most important low‑carbon infrastructure projects. This two‑year Graduate Supply Chain Scheme offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a nationally significant energy programme, supporting the UK’s long‑term climate and sustainability goals.

You’ll gain hands‑on commercial experience across procurement, contract management, supplier development and strategic sourcing, all while contributing to a major clean‑energy project expected to power millions of homes for decades to come.

Key Criteria
Essential
  • 2:2 or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Maths, Finance, Geography, or similar
  • Right to work in the UK from the start date
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in procurement, supply chain or commercial project delivery
  • Willingness to travel/relocate for placements
  • Able to obtain UK Security Vetting clearance
  • Demonstrates commercial awareness and problem‑solving capability
Desirable
  • Internship/placement experience in supply chain, procurement or commercial roles
  • Experience analysing data or working with suppliers/stakeholders
  • Knowledge of contract management, forecasting or procurement principles
  • Interest in energy, infrastructure or major project environments
  • Exposure to tools such as Excel, Power BI, ERP or procurement systems
About the Programme

Across the two‑year scheme, you’ll rotate through commercial, procurement and supply chain teams, developing the technical, analytical and professional skills needed to thrive in a complex, multi‑disciplinary environment.

You’ll be supported by a dedicated line manager, placement manager, mentor and buddy to ensure you build confidence, capability and strong commercial awareness.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate in Nuclear Supply Chain, your work may include:

  • Supporting procurement activities and contract administration
  • Developing forecasts, analysing contract costs and managing supplier performance
  • Contributing to strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation projects
  • Building relationships with suppliers and cross‑functional teams
  • Working on live commercial challenges with real operational impact
  • Rotating across business units to broaden your commercial and industry knowledge

This is a unique opportunity to gain end‑to‑end supply chain experience within one of the most complex supply environments in the UK.

Location & Travel

Your primary base will be Suffolk, but you may undertake 6–12 month placements at other UK locations to broaden your exposure to the nuclear, construction and energy sectors.
