Responsibilities

Role Description

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Supply Chain Team in a rapidly growing business to help maximise the sales drive with existing and new customers. The fast-paced environment of the Health & Beauty industry means that this role will develop constantly, with new challenges arising every day within a business that is organically growing.

Role Responsibilities
  • Sales Analysis - interpret current and future sales information through EPOS / Customer supplied information. Keep on top of seasonality / trends to ensure we understand the sales profile on a product-by-product basis.
  • Forecasting - preparation of sales forecasts which drive the manufacturing slots within PMI, to ensure all customers stay well supplied and sales are maximised.
  • Reporting - Low Stock / High Stock analysis and reporting. Preparation of clear and concise stock summaries which will be shared business wide and challenged potentially at Director Level.
  • Potential Future Stock Issues - highlight potential issues and look for / suggest improvements where possible in order to maximise sales opportunities.
  • One off's / Promotional Activity - react to last minute demands from our customers by Analysing product stock positions, to suggest to the business what we can or cannot achieve.
  • Develop relationships with our customers where possible, in order to educate ourselves on their processes so that we can better understand and model our internal processes around their demands.
  • Manage Finished Goods Stock Levels through analysis of customer behaviours and flow through to our MRP & Planning system.
  • Drive Internal Process improvements to enable the team focus to be on proactive engagement with customers.
  • Management of a Supply Chain Graduate. Develop and nurture their career to maximise the team capability.
The Ideal Candidate Description
  • Excellent numerical skills: must be able to understand and advise on product costings.
  • Exceptional organisational ability.
  • Must be able to communicate across all levels of the business, from factory floor to Senior Directors & externally with Suppliers and Freight companies.
  • Has commercial acumen and an understanding of business issues.
  • Pivotal team player + has a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multi-projects - skilled prioritiser.
  • Deadline driven and motivated: self-starter; a "can-do" attitude,
  • Successful within a fast-paced environment: responds well to pressure and change
  • Professional, adaptable and flexible.
Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 5 years experience within a Supply Focused Role in FMCG Manufacturing.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office systems including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Full Driving Licence
