Overview

Owen Mumford is looking to hire a Supply Chain Coordinator. Our Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, purchasing and fulfilment of finished product produced by Owen Mumford’s global third-party manufacturing partners. We are looking for someone with flawless attention to detail, who enjoys working with and analysing data, and who will thrive supporting global teams to ensure our customers orders are always supplied on time and in full.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, purchase and manage the fulfilment of all finished product orders placed on third-party manufacturing partners and affiliates
  • Support the relationship management & performance management for all third-party manufacturing partners
  • Support the Demand Management & Fulfilment teams in analysing & monitoring demand on all third party partners; providing periodic updates & forecasts to all third-party partners
  • Analyse capacity compared with latest demand information. Using this data to identify, report and propose tactical resolution of current and future constraints
  • Monitor despatches and work with Transport Planners to proactively communicate ETAs
  • Review and communicate KPI's, identifying and driving any improvements required
  • Monitor, control and communicate inventory volumes tailored for the appropriate Division (Med Devices/Pharma Services) and affiliate
  • Ensure Purchase Order coverage is maintained in accordance to the supply strategy across the OM Network
  • Ensure all paperwork generated by the third-party manufacturing parties are submitted / made available to the appropriate teams in a timely manner
  • Working closely with the Transport Planners to ensure orders are collected on time and moved via the appropriate method of transport
  • Communicate exceptions and failures to meet the agreed plan in an effective and timely manner to all key stakeholders
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
  • To be highly computer literate – Excel / PowerPoint
  • Sound knowledge / experience in ERP / MRP Systems (ideally Epicor)
  • Excellent planning and coordination experience
  • Experience in dealing with third-party manufacturers (ideally international)
  • An understanding of production plans and reporting would be desirable
  • An interest in learning inventory control disciplines and best practice
  • To thrive in an organisational role
  • An analytical mind and enjoy working with data
  • The ability to work independently and within a wider team (in person and remote)
