Job Title: Supply Chain and Quality Manager
Location: Derby (onsite requirement)
Contract Duration: Until 31st December 2026
Rate: £41.00/hour (Umbrella) | £30.64/hour (PAYE)
Security Clearance: BPSS+ required
Working Hours: 35 hours/week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join a high-performing team at a leading engineering and manufacturing facility in Derby. This role is critical to ensuring supply chain efficiency, quality assurance, and risk mitigation across complex industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct load/capacity analysis
  • Manage rate readiness and transfer of work
  • Oversee supply chain intelligence and design change industrialisation
  • Quality Management
  • Drive non-conformity eradication (Events / SARI / QSR / Concessions)
  • Implement APQP and SQIP for quality improvement
Risk Management
  • Identify and assess risks
  • Define and execute mitigation plans
  • Lead governance activities
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong background in aerospace, manufacturing, or automotive industries
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting
  • Practical problem-solving and crisis management abilities
  • Project management experience is highly desirable
  • Understanding of safety and quality topics
