Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that supplied products and services perform according to quality standards and that vendor manufacturing processes are capable and qualified.
• Responsible for inspection plan for supplied aviation hardware.
• Uses and teaches troubleshooting techniques to problem solve supplier quality issues.
• Developing conceptual knowledge in manufacturing quality. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies quality knowledge through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborates with suppliers and sourcing quality to solve issues. Develops strong supplier relationships and serves as the interface between supplier and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in supplier quality) PLUS a minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality.

The salary range for this position is $98,000.00 - 131,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on September 25, 2025.
