A leading technology organization is seeking a Supplier Operations Specialist to join their Supplier Management Team in Reading. The role involves managing supplier records, supporting supply chain processes, and contributing to governance tasks. AWE have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Operations Specialist to join our growing Supplier Management Team. This would suit an individual with excellent attention to detail, with experience setting up and maintaining data records.
As the Supplier Operations Specialist, you will provide specialist support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Sub Function across processes, systems, supplier management, governance and reporting. You will build strong relationships with various teams across the business, as well as new and existing suppliers and work closely with Category Managers in support of tenders, to help determine the correct question sets to be asked.
Previous experience in supplier management or supply chain is not essential. If you have transferable skills and experience of creating and maintaining records, such as, customer, personnel, public etc, we would like to hear from you.

Starting salary from £27,360 to £31,000 depending on experience.
This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
