Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Supervisor to join our client's team in East Kilbride.

This is a key operational role where you'll support a team of employees, ensuring moral and performance is high and staff training is completed.

In this varied Supervisor role, your duties will include:
  • Managing a team of employees ensuring morale and performance is high
  • Carrying out any training and/or inductions for new and existing warehouse staff
  • Organising order priorities, storage and staff in line with customer demand
  • Supervising Goods In through to despatch and all operational areas
  • Scheduling workload and staffing levels for warehouse and drivers
  • Taking responsibility for disciplinary, timekeeping and grievance procedures
To succeed in this Supervisor role

you will have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with ideally 2-years in a warehouse management experience. Combined with the following skills, experience and traits:

  • Strong knowledge of HR and disciplinary investigations, H&S root cause analysis, and formal investigation techniques (IOSH/ROSPA, Kaizen fault finding)
  • A people-focused leader with proven experience managing and developing teams in a supportive, engaging way, leading by example and taking pride in high-quality work
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented planner with a structured management appraisal and development approach
  • Experienced in fast-paced warehousing environments, with extensive knowledge of stock management systems; ERP system experience is a distinct advantage
  • An effective communicator who builds strong relationships, with health and safety at the forefront of everything you do
