About the role

At International House London, we are excited to invite you to join our team for the upcoming Young Learner summer season. International House London has been running summer schools since 2011 across the UK. We are proud to be accredited by the British Council and International House World Organisation.

Qualifications
  • GCSEs (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and leading or supervising activities
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and handle responsibility
  • CELTA or equivalent
  • Sports/Art Degree or PGCE
  • Coaching qualifications
  • Experience in summer programme management
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the activity programme, including excursions and on‑site activities
  • Oversee the rota and ensure Activity Leaders are fully prepared
  • Conduct appraisals and provide ongoing support and guidance to the activity team
  • Liaise with Centre Management, Welfare Managers, and external clients
  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of students during all activities
  • Manage budgets for the activity department and monitor stock levels
  • Hold daily meetings with staff and ensure they are fully briefed for excursions and transfers
