Job summary

A leading engineering company in Aberdeen is seeking a Clean Line Operative to prepare and clean turbine components. The ideal candidate should have a team-oriented approach and preferably some experience in a workshop environment. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, paid overtime, and a 9-day fortnight working pattern, among other benefits. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a clean-line or workshop environment is preferred.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.

This role is based at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, a key hub for our turbine operations and customer support.

Your Role:

As a Process / Clean Line Operative you’ll be responsible for preparing and cleaning turbine components to the highest standards supporting the delivery of world‑class engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and process turbine components using chemical tanks, grit blasting, vapour blasting and hand cleaning.
  • Operate specialist equipment such as ball burnishing machines.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
  • Follow all health safety and environmental procedures.
What You’ll Bring:
  • A flexible team‑oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and safe working practices.
  • Previous experience in a clean‑line or workshop environment is preferred but full training will be provided.
