Qualifications

  • NMC registration and experience in substance misuse necessary.
  • Ability to conduct community detoxifications and phlebotomy required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and refer to healthcare services.
  • Complete alcohol assessments for safe detoxification.
  • Assist with opioid titration for optimal dosing.
  • Provide health education and screening for BBVs.
  • Work within integrated care pathways for BBVs.
  • Undertake community detoxification at service or home.
  • Perform phlebotomy and guide treatment based on blood results.
  • Liaise with hospital teams for specialist services.
