A wellbeing organization is seeking a Subcontractor Lead to manage and expand its subcontractor network for Smoking Cessation services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The candidate will oversee training, ensure compliance, and enhance service delivery while collaborating with pharmacies and other partners. This full-time, permanent position promises exciting challenges and a dynamic work environment. Thrive Tribe creates long-term habit and behaviour change through a range of lifestyle and wellbeing programmes.
Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!
At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver our newly awarded Smoking Cessation support services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and we’re looking for a Subcontractor Lead to join us!
Our programmes are designed to support residents of Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight access the support they need to stop smoking or using non-tobacco nicotine products. This can be done through a number of approaches and will include the supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT) being sent to them. Combining these, with digital, remote or face-to face appointments with Stop Smoking Advisors to support them to ensure their quit attempt is successful.
This pivotal role requires an experienced and strategic leader to drive the success of our Smokefree Hampshire and Smokefree Island initiatives by overseeing our network of subcontractor partners, including pharmacies, vape stores, and other key stakeholders. You'll be responsible for expanding our subcontractor footprint, ensuring they consistently deliver outstanding smoking cessation support, and exceeding performance objectives. Working closely with the Head of Service and your peers in the local leadership team, you will provide effective leadership to a dedicated team, implementing robust performance management strategies, and developing comprehensive training programs to support our partners to maximise the offer to residents across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You'll also manage essential operational elements such as PharmOutcomes and Patient Group Directions (PGDs) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.
More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart into their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too!
You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.
You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. Always happy to make time for other people and have a great attitude.
You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).
You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets and will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.
You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, you want to engage in meaningful work and change lives.
To work with us in this role you will have proven experience in sub-contractor management or a similar coordination role (including a portfolio of performance management), delivering engaging and effective training sessions. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be an excellent leader, have strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to manage a geographically dispersed network.
We hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!
Every person makes Thrive Tribe the incredible place it is to work and play together, we’re unstoppable. Within our buzzing environment our talented people work hard but we ensure lots of fun is thrown in too! We offer you.
23 days holiday, increasing every year up to a maximum of 29 days (plus Bank Holidays!)
