Overview

Freelance Sub Agent - Wastewater Project (Near Solihull). £400.00 - LTD / CIS. 10 Months work starting end Sept. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Sub Agent to join our team on a wastewater infrastructure project located just outside of Solihull.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Agent in the planning and delivery of site activities.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Support the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and quality documentation.
• Monitor progress and report regularly to senior management.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture on site.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent (or Senior Engineer ready to step up) within the water/wastewater or civil engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of site management, health & safety, and quality assurance.
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
