Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 literacy/English and numeracy/maths qualifications.
  • Understanding student funding guidance and financial support mechanisms.

Student Finance Manager

We are looking for a Student Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. This is a 35 hours per week, full time, permanent role offering a salary of £26,844 to £32,035 per annum.

Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive loan fee policy.
  • Ensure all students and staff are fully informed of college policies on loan fees.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Bursary Policies.
  • Ensure all students and staff are fully informed of the College policies on Bursaries.
  • Operationally manage the functions associated with all aspects of Student Financial Support.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Business Administration/Finance Qualification at Level 3
  • Level 2 minimum literacy/English qualification
  • Level 2 minimum numeracy/maths qualification
  • Understanding of guidance relating to student funding, discretionary learner support and student loans
  • Experience of dealing with financial functions within a customer facing service delivery environment
