A local government authority in Ipswich is seeking a Structures Engineer to work within the Infrastructure Management team. You'll be working within the team responsible for the inspection maintenance and construction of highway structures working in collaboration with the Highway Services Contractor and their supply chain team is responsible for inspecting and assessing a wide range of structures throughout the County and for prioritising developing and implementing maintenance and strengthening works required to ensure that structures remain safe for use and fit for purpose. The work requires collaboration with a wide range of other teams and organisations both internal and external to ensure the successful delivery of the addition to taking personal responsibility for your own work the role also involves guiding and supporting other technicians and colleagues working alongside you.
