Role: Structural Engineer

Salary: £34,000 to £44,000

Structural Engineer Position Overview
  • Deliver detailed structural designs across a variety of sectors including retail, healthcare, and large commercial schemes.
  • Work closely with Revit technicians to produce accurate BIM/CAD models.
  • Carry out technical reports, calculations, and site surveys.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Conduct structural inspections and assessments of existing buildings, including heritage and historic projects.
  • Use software such as Tekla Structural Designer (or similar FEM tools) to develop efficient and robust solutions.
Structural Engineer Position Requirements
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership (with full support provided).
  • Experience in both modern and historic buildings, with a strong appreciation for heritage conservation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes and a wide range of construction methods.
  • Skilled in structural assessments and creative problem‑solving.
  • Exposure to large‑scale schemes (offices, hotels, housing) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Tekla and other structural analysis software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
