Senior Structural Engineer

About the role: We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing design consultancy and provide technical design support to a range of clients in the UK with ongoing work available and excellent development opportunities for the right individual.

You will:

  • Work on a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, including new build and refurbishment requirements.
  • Prepare technical details, specifications and drawings for the architectural design.
  • Maintain financial, technical and project management control of all aspects of projects.
  • Prepare outline briefs, visit sites, review planning information and assess risks.
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, subcontractors and other professionals.
  • Guide junior engineers and CAD technicians.

About you:

  • Minimum 4 years experience working for UK‑based design consultancies.
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber materials.
  • Strong analytical, communication and technical design skills.
  • Strong knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes and relevant design guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Software required: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite.
