Role Purpose

To maintain and enhance the borough’s environment through high-quality cleansing, horticultural, and grounds maintenance services. You will play a vital role in delivering safe, clean, and pleasant public spaces for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform environmental cleansing and grounds maintenance, including litter removal, bin emptying, and upkeep of green spaces.

Operate powered tools and specialist equipment, ensuring security and maintenance.

Safeguard vehicles, buildings, and resources under your responsibility.

Assist the public with directions and general inquiries.

Report property damage or street defects and support environmental enforcement operations.

Support community campaigns, events, and initiatives.

Mentor trainees, seasonal staff, and volunteers.

Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records.

Work safely, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Ensure tasks are completed to standard and within specified timescales.

Requirements

Qualifications
