A leading service provider in the UK is looking for a dedicated Street Van Driver to join their street cleansing team in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of streets, emptying bins, and inspecting vehicles. Applicants must hold a full and clean UK driving licence and be physically fit. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits including pension scheme and employee discounts.

Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am-3.15pm + occasional weekend work and overtime
Salary: £24,193.31 per annum + excellent benefits

With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets, homes, and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. Using your experience of street cleansing you will be responsible for the daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery, prior and on completion of usage, including vehicles. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of machines and vehicles, ensuring that Health and Safety guidelines are observed at all times.
First and foremost this role will include the use of a 3.5T sweeper, so you will already hold a full and clean UK driving licence.
You will need to be self motivated with the willingness to undertake further training.
This role can see you walking long distances daily so you must be physically fit.
