Responsibilities

What you'll be doing: You'll work on reinstatement of surfaces, excavation for equipment, and installation of street lighting electrical equipment, private cable networks and feeder pillars, and report any defects. You'll complete and sign off jobs using PDAs/Tablets, and make sure works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements. Are you tidy & organised? You'll have daily vehicle checks to keep vehicles clean & tidy! Are you friendly and approachable? You'll ensure the public is kept informed of works and not put in danger.

Qualifications
  • G39 & MEWP category 1b is desirable but not essential
  • G39 – Desirable
  • You'll need NRSWA Unit 1‑8 or equivalent
  • Experience operating a crane – essential for this role
  • HGV Class 2 Licence – essential for this role
  • Manual Handling and first aid – training will be provided if not already held
  • ECS Test and Part 1/Level 2 Electrical Qualification – desirable but not essential
