Job summary

A leading retail company in the East Midlands is looking for a Senior Finance Manager. You will lead the production of annual financial statements, manage a finance team, and ensure accurate financial controls. The ideal candidate is an ACA qualified accountant with external audit experience and strong knowledge of IFRS. This position requires excellent analytical and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be an ACA qualified accountant with external audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 & 16 required.
• Ability to manage competing workloads and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of annual financial statements.
• Coordinate the year-end external audit process with KPMG.
• Support the Corporation Tax return in conjunction with Group Tax team & Deloitte.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting of capital expenditure and service charge costs.
• Manage finance team members and review key balance sheet accounts.
