Job Overview

SailPoint® is a leading provider of identity security, helping Fortune 500 and ASX 50 customers manage and secure access to sensitive data and applications. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Executive – Agentic Technology Specialist in the UK to sell our Agentic solutions (Machine Identity Security, Data Access Security, and Agent Identity Security) into large, complex strategic accounts. This role drives adoption of innovative AI‑driven identity solutions across IT stakeholders in high‑growth environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Provide accurate, tailored solutions that align with customers’ needs in data, AI, and identity intelligence.
  • Strategically engage customers and partners to maintain high‑level service aligned with SailPoint’s core values.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute partner‑enabled plans targeting the Identity Intelligence market.
  • Pursue all leads and ensure internal systems are updated.
  • Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages.
  • Follow up with partners and customer‑success teams to ensure consistent coverage and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Oversee all sales‑cycle phases, including qualification, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
  • Build deep territory understanding, including customers, prospects, partners, and competitors in the Identity Intelligence landscape.
  • Communicate all product and technological strategies of competitors and complementary organizations.
  • Navigate discussions across all customer levels, from business stakeholders to technical decision makers focused on cybersecurity, AI, data, and enterprise architecture.
  • Utilize reporting tools for accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene.
  • Develop and deliver internal training to equip Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development teams.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on multi‑year strategic account plans that incorporate Agentic Technology solutions.
  • Build internal programs that foster collaboration between the Identity Intelligence Specialists and the broader sales organization.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience as an account executive in a dynamic, matrix‑based sales environment (overlay, co‑prime, etc.).
  • Curious mindset with the ability to synthesize information rapidly in a dynamic environment.
  • Consultative sales approach that discovers alignment between business value and technology solutions.
  • Strong cross‑persona skills within IT organizations, especially in Cybersecurity/Identity, modern cloud technologies, IaaS, and cloud data platforms.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels – from IT executives to individual contributors.
  • Experience scaling initiatives that empower other sales resources for positive business outcomes.
  • Analytical skills to utilize complex data and drive programs and plays.
  • Deep expertise in SailPoint Agentic Technology solutions and the ability to compare offerings to competitors.
  • Committed to delivering a superior customer experience: first discovery call, competitive positioning, and broader value proposition including partner services.
  • Capability to build territory and opportunity plans that progress from discovery to next stages in the sales cycle.
  • Strong communication skills to build internal programs and enablement for the larger sales organization.
  • Alignment with SailPoint’s values and culture (4I’s).
Education

Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in an IT, business, or sales‑related field.
