Key Responsibilities of a Stores Operative

• Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
• Data entry and system updates using Excel, Office and ERP
• Stock control including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
• General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment

Requirements for the Stores Operative Role

• Previous experience as a stores operative or in warehousing, goods in (manufacturing engineering industrial etc.)
• IT literate and confident using Windows-based ERP systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Keen eye for detail and ability to follow stock control procedures
