Job description

SPX Cooling Technologies in Worcester are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Stores Coordinator to join our experienced team. With one of our long-standing team members retiring in October, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of our busy stores function and play a key role in our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
  • Managing goods in/out, including loading, unloading, and SAP booking
  • Ensuring stock integrity through cycle counts, audits, and investigations
  • Picking and preparing parts/kits in line with schedules
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety in stores and yard areas
  • Supporting continuous improvement (CI) projects when not operationally busy
  • Acting as the key contact for annual stock checks and external auditors
  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of all stores and materials on site, as well as supporting logistics across the Worcester facility. From unloading deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records, to ensuring compliance with health & safety and keeping our stores running smoothly, you'll be at the heart of operations.
About You

We're looking for someone hands-on, organised, and ready to take responsibility. You'll need to be:

  • A qualified forklift driver (both large and small trucks)
  • Holder of a full UK driving licence
  • Experienced in stock management within a logistics/warehouse environment
  • Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • Comfortable with manual handling and some heavy lifting
  • Self-motivated, with a positive, proactive approach and common sense
  • Willing to think strategically and get involved in CI projects
