Qualifications

  • Experience in stores and inventory management within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering parts and planning cycles.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering stores inventory and systems, including goods in/out operations.
  • Maintain accurate material codes, BOM creation, and service pack generation.
  • Lead weekly planning meetings and support reactive maintenance occurrences.
  • Administer CMMS and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee purchase order management, supplier performance, and contractor maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the engineering roadmap.
  • Ensure safe and compliant storage of all engineering materials.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stores Controller and Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team in Manchester.

Location: Manchester Blow Moulding Department

Hours: Full-Time Monday-Friday

Salary: Competitive

Role Purpose

To coordinate and monitor effective planning for engineering activities on site, while implementing best practice inventory management systems to support customer service levels and budgetary control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering stores inventory and systems, including goods in/out operations.
  • Maintain accurate material codes, BOM creation, and service pack generation.
  • Lead weekly planning meetings and support reactive maintenance occurrences.
