Job Opportunity: Storeman | Location: Worksop | Employment Type: Full-Time | Company: Force Contracting Services

Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a proactive and organised Storeman to manage the day-to-day operations of our stores and support our busy site teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored, tracked, and distributed, enabling our teams to operate smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries; check for damages and ensure documentation is accurate
• Organise and maintain stock levels using inventory systems
• Pick, pack, and dispatch equipment and materials to various project sites
• Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and logged appropriately
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies
• Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Liaise with procurement and site managers to forecast and fulfil material requirements
• Assist with general warehouse and logistical duties as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Storeman or warehouse/logistics role (essential)
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach - preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with stock control or asset management systems
• Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual handling
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude
• Basic IT/computer skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
