Job Description
  • To ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with Food Safety, Health and Safety and Department Policies and Procedures.
  • You will be required to drive the Department's vehicle to make daily deliveries to boarding houses, function areas and other such places as required.
  • To assist the Head Chef and Storeman in stock-taking, monitoring stock levels and ordering.
  • To make up shopping baskets of commodities to deliver out or to be collected.
  • To keep the stores and ancillary areas in a clean, organised and tidy manner, including stock rotating.
  • Monitoring wastage and out of dates.
  • Ensuring that the food is delivered to the standard expected.
  • Ensuring that you have a very high standard of communication with the Executive Chef and Head Chef.
  • To keep accurate records of goods being delivered outside of the department in order for recharging to take place and accounts made up.
  • To assist in other areas of the department as required by any member of the Management Team.
  • To ensure compliance with the company’s policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times whilst at work.
  • To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, and company policies and to also keep up to date with training.
  • To ensure that you are helpful and approachable attitude to customers and quick to respond and exceed expectations.
  • To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
