Overview

Are you an experienced retail leader looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Store Manager to take charge of our busy petrol station forecourt in Okehampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, drive performance, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain high operational standards, including stock control, merchandising, and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and environmental regulations
  • Handle staff rotas, training, and performance reviews
  • Drive sales and control costs to meet financial targets
  • Oversee the safe and secure handling of fuel and cash
About You
  • Previous experience in a retail management role (petrol station or convenience store preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confident in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Familiar with EPOS systems, stock management, and basic HR practices
