Store Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the store, driving performance, maintaining high operational standards, and supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and support the store team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Drive sales performance and achieve commercial KPIs
  • Oversee store operations including stock management, merchandising, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Support training, development and performance reviews
  • Build strong customer relationships and handle escalated enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with head office and regional management teams
  • Maintain a positive and professional working environment
Person Specification
Essential
  • Proven retail management experience (optical experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong leadership, communication and people‑management skills
  • Results‑driven with the ability to analyse performance data

Requirements

Salary starting at £35k (experience depending).
