Overview

Store Delivery Driver — Full time 36.75 hours per week. Permanent contract. Shifts available Monday – Sunday, 7.00am – 10.00pm. UK Notional hourly rate £13.46 per hour. B&Q Erdington - 1302.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries in our 3.5 ton vans range from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring. You\'ll be comfortable with some heavy lifting and play an important part in helping our customers create a home they\'ll love.
• When not delivering multi-drop orders to customers\' homes, you will be based on the shopfloor where you will use new technology to fulfil customer orders and support colleagues where needed.
• Maintain efficiency and safety at all times and represent the B&Q brand by putting customers first, everywhere you go.

What we need

• A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans even when busy. You\'ll feel at home with us.
• Organised and analytical thinker who knows how to keep things simple.
• We\'ll supply the 3.5 ton van, training and all the kit you\'ll need to do the job.
• You\'ll need a manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1, up to 3.5T) held for at least a year with no more than 6 points.
• Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is useful, but not essential.
• You\'re flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and holidays.
• To keep everybody safe and reassure our customers, we carry out checks through Experian with the DVLA to verify the information you\'ve given us. DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will also be completed. Any discrepancies will be discussed directly with you.
