Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse and/or inventory controlling position.
• Understanding of stock management.
• Computer literate particularly in Microsoft packages.
• Data entry skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedure.

Job description

Unfortunately we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

As a Stock Coordinator you will manage the laboratory inventory levels and coordinate the flow of goods and ensuring their efficient movement and storage within the laboratory.

Main Duties

• Monitoring stock levels conducting regular stock takes and implement stock rotation to maintain accurate inventory records preventing shortages or overstocking and ensuring accuracy and minimize waste.
• Planning and monitoring storeroom and cold rooms layout and storage space to optimize efficiency.
• Unloading deliveries and storing products in their designated locations.
• Physically inspect delivered goods against purchase orders noting any discrepancies in quantity or condition.
• Liaise with various departments (purchasing sales production and warehouse) to align inventory with demand.
• To support Sample Reception department with receiving unpacking and sorting patient samples.
• To support Client Services department with packing and shipping customer supplies.
• Dispose of general and clinical waste including sharps and ensure workbenches are clean and tidy.
• Communicateeffectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
• Adhering to SOPs work instructions and Quality system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 15189 at all times ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed.
• Cleaning work areas and ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
