Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Northern Ireland is seeking a Stock Controller to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. The candidate should have experience in a similar role, particularly within the manufacturing industry, and be proficient in MS Excel and inventory management systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and developing procedures to maximize efficiency.

  • Proficient with MS packages (Excel) and in using inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and rectify discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures.
  • Organise and conduct operations of shift workers.
  • Develop daily procedures to maximise efficiency.
  • Update and maintain stock control sheets.
  • Conduct end of month stock take.
  • Kit components according to the production schedule.
  • Remove surplus stock from the production floor.
  • Other adhoc duties.

Due to increase in production I am delighted to be working with a leading Manufacturer who are seeking a Stock Controller to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis.

About you
  • Experience of working within a similar role – ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficient with MS packages (Excel) and in using inventory management systems (123 insight).
Duties
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Conduct regular stock counts as well as working with purchasing and planning to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures
  • Organise and conduct the operation of shift workers, 24/7 operation kitting is required continuously..
  • Develop daily procedures to maximise daily efficiency.
  • Update and maintain stock control sheets
  • Conduct end of month stock take
  • Kit components according to the production schedule
  • Remove surplus stock from the production floor
  • Other adhoc duties
