Overview

A long established heavy manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires two Machine Operatives for their state-of-the-art casting and rolling business.

Annual Salary: 29,000 plus 3,000 guaranteed production bonus

Weekly Shifts: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am

Responsibilities

• The job involves loading coils onto machines using overhead cranes, following written instructions, recording process details, using automated controls to process the material, inspect coils for quality and basic computer usage.
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working in an industrial environment and using one's own initiative.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who hold a Fork Lift counterbalance truck
