Overview

Static Handmyan - 30K - Leicester

I am currently representing a leading HVAC specialist who is currently in search of a static Handyman / maintenance engineer to join one of their sites in Leicester. The successful candidate will be providing planned maintenance and servicing and join a team of experienced engineers on site to work alongside with. The company has grown from strength to strength since launching in 2002 and provides building performance assets, planned and reactive maintenance solutions and capital projects works throughout the UK. They mainly work with a wide variety of retail, hotel and leisure and commercial multi tenanted office spaces. The ideal candidate will have come from building services/ commercial maintenance background. They are currently in search of a static resident fabric engineer to join one of their sites based in Leicester to provide M&E maintenance and servicing to a wide variety of components including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Emergency light testing, fire alarm tests
• Perform basic plumbing work such as unblocking drains, replacing tap washers, and fixing leaks
• Conduct basic non-invasive electrical tasks (e.g., lamp replacements, checking sockets) in support of the Electrical Engineer
• Assemble, relocate, or dismantle furniture and fittings as required
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in line with Health & Safety standards and centre regulations
• Support weekly and monthly compliance checks (e.g., emergency lighting, fire exit condition, water flushing where needed)

• The ideal candidate will come from a building services/ commercial maintenance background

Employment Details

• This role is based on a 40-hour week, with the shift pattern being 7:00-15:30 (this can be flexible)
• No call out, as the company has a mobile team to provide coverage
