A healthcare provider is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse for their Respite and Day service for adults with learning disabilities in Nuneaton. The successful applicant will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and provide person-centred care. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for improving health outcomes. Full-time and part-time positions available.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse within our Respite and Day service for adults with a Learning Disability. Ashby House is a Nurse led health-based respite unit for adults with a learning disability and a complex health need and/or complex behaviours. We also provide nursing support for our health based day service, The Lodge, which is situated on the same site. The successful applicant must be a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about person centred and holistic care and contributing towards improved health outcomes for adults with a learning disability. Full time and Part time options available.
The successful applicant will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team and will be expected to work alongside the individual, their families and other professionals. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Ashby House and The Lodge will support the successful applicant with training for all necessary clinical procedures. The successful applicant is expected to be a car driver due to the location and needs of the service.
