Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for palliative care? Join Dougie Mac's award-winning Inpatient Services team and make a difference where it matters most. Our 28-bed Adult Inpatient Unit offers specialist palliative and end-of-life care to adults with life-limiting conditions across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. We provide both short-term symptom management and support in the final stages of life. You'll be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care that focuses on dignity, comfort, and compassion - every step of the way.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering outstanding physical, emotional, and spiritual care tailored to each patient
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a multi-professional team
  • Leading shifts and supervising healthcare staff in the absence of senior nurses
  • Participating in quality improvement, audits and continuous development
  • Maintaining professional, accurate documentation in line with NMC and hospice policy
Qualifications
  • NMC registration (RGN)
  • A passion for palliative or complex care (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across days and nights as part of a supportive team
  • A commitment to professional development and delivering high standards of care
