A healthcare provider in Rotherham is seeking a passionate Staff Nurse to join their new older adults ward. This role involves assessing and planning care using a multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring high standards of care for older adults experiencing mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a nursing qualification and relevant experience. This position promotes person-centered care in a vibrant work environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us on our new older adults ward, specialising in the care of older adults experiencing mental health conditions including dementia.
We provide 24 hour care within our purpose built assessment and therapy unit, working within a multidisciplinary approach that optimises each individual recovery.
We are a vibrant ward with an MDT focussed pathway including non pharmacological approaches. We are activity driven and promote person centred care which supports both our clients and their carers.
To be responsible for further assessment, planning implementation of care using a MDT approach.
Responsible for the appropriate clinical risk assessment of client within our care.
Providing effective advice, guidance and involvement in the decision making process alongside our clients and culminating in the development and overview of care planning with MDT support.
Responsible for overseeing admission, assessment, treatment and discharge for individuals within our care.
Responsible for the care and assessment of individuals as a named nurse and a development of a care plan within this role.
An individual that can work to excellent standards both independently and as part of the team.
Passionate about working with older adults.
Excellent knowledge of the MHA/MCA.
