Overview

We are committed to providing high quality care for the people of Bradford, Airedale and Craven. As a provider of care for people of all ages who have mental and/or community health needs, we are dedicated to a high-quality service tailored to individual needs and delivered close to where people live.

We are seeking creative and dynamic individuals to work collaboratively with service users and staff within our occupational therapy team structure, integrating into the multidisciplinary team on the wards. You will assist in the delivery of meaningful activity on the ward and within the local community, supporting recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work with the wider multi-disciplinary teams on the ward and in the community and may be involved in service development within the relevant area.

The vacancies are within our temporary workforce team and will be supporting all of our acute adult mental health wards based at Airedale Centre For Mental Health and Lynfield Mount Hospitals. The acute psychiatric wards provide care for males and females aged 18-65 who are experiencing acute mental illness.

Bank shifts will be available across various areas on a flexible basis dependent on service need. The provision will incorporate a 7-day service with shift working to enhance the therapeutic offer for service users, and will include a combination of the following hours:

  • Long day – 07:30 – 20:00
  • Early Shift – 07:30 – 15:30
  • Mid Shift – 09:00 – 17:00
  • Late Shift – 12:00 – 20:00
