Location: London, WC2E 9DD

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £14.94 per hour

Key responsibilities
  • To ensure the guest experience and service quality is monitored and maintained to the agreed standards.
  • To ensure that all services in the restaurant are ready for operation at the specified time and to the required standard.
  • Observing Safety and Hygiene legislation.
  • To ensure that all stock is monitored and handled correctly.
  • To familiarise service periods and performances.
  • To ensure that the restaurant and floor are clean and presentable.
  • To ensure regular liaison with the Restaurant Manager regarding customer feedback, food quality, stock levels, wastage, tills, ordering etc.
  • To ensure that all staff constantly present themselves on time and correctly dressed for duty.
  • To monitor daily the standards achieved in these areas and report any areas of concern to the Manager.
Data Entry
  • Staff Training/Management.
  • Food & Coffee quality Check.
  • Stock Order/Control.
  • Assist during Stock Takes.
  • Equipment Handling/Safeguarding.
  • Safety and Hygiene.
  • Restaurant FOH Security.
  • Reporting all accidents and faults to Restaurant Manager.
Catering Administration
  • To ensure all EPOS (Card machine) issues are recorded and reported to the Manager.
  • To ensure all food labels and allergens information are up to date.
  • To ensure the correct procedures are carried out regarding signing staff on and off shift, lateness.
  • To ensure that any issues in staff attendance, equipment, wastage, breakage, etc. are recorded and reported on time.
Accountability
  • To attend daily briefing with manager/senior supervisor as requested.
  • To attend stocktaking duties as requested.
  • To always provide the highest level of service possible to all patrons, management & guests and deal with and attempt to resolve any problems or complaints in a polite and professional manner.
  • To ensure regular, positive, and co-operative communication with managers, and staff.
  • To take appropriate action in relation to incidents of a racial, sexual, or disciplinary nature.
  • To carry out any reasonable duties as required by the Management to achieve the objectives and targets of the Restaurant/Cafe operation.
