Job summary

A dedicated educational organization is seeking a Sports Coach in Manchester to support vulnerable children. The ideal candidate will deliver sports sessions, promote healthy lifestyles, and collaborate with teachers to create tailored plans. Experience with special needs is preferred. This is a full-time position from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

• Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential.

• Enhanced DBS on Update Service / or commitment to apply.

Sports Coach

Empowering Learning are working closely with a vibrant school in Salford and Trafford supporting children and young people who struggle with SLD, PMLD, autism and complex need. The ideal candidate should be hands on and confident in delivering sports sessions (PE) to children and young people.

Your Role

As a Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and planning sports sessions to various age groups including (Warmer/Main activity/ Cool down)
• Promoting a healthy and balanced diet
• Encouraging young people with their proactive learning
• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements
