Qualifications

• One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years.
• Experience in the relevant subject since qualifying as a teacher.
• A degree or equivalent.
• Qualified teacher status.

Responsibilities

• Attend standardisation meetings, mandatory for moderation.
• Moderate centres’ assessment of candidates’ work as per the criteria.
• Communicate centre requests for special consideration to Pearson.
• Maintain contact with the Team Leader and address issues.
• Submit all Moderator marks and reports by deadlines.
• Keep records related to the moderator role for one year after exams.
