The Company

A highly respected and ethical newspaper group, renowned for developing talent and operating an entrepreneurial and professional sales environment, seeks a Sponsorship/Partnership Account Manager to join their senior level creative solutions department.

The Role

As Sponsorship/Partnership Sales Manager you will be working for one of the most powerful voices / brands in the UK media world.

As part of a senior creative solutions team you will proactively create and monetise new commercial projects which will span print, digital, mobile and events. Due to the nature of the role you would be mainly new business focused. Deals can be built around a company or dictated by market conditions but they are always complex, bespoke and high value (£100k upwards) so you will be the kind of person who can start with an idea (news story for example) and turn it into a commercial project which generates revenue.

It is a thinking sales person's role so you will be experienced in selling creative, high value, content driven digital advertising and event sponsorship solutions to direct clients.

Requirements for this Sponsorship/Partnership Account Manager role (must have)
  • Strong multi-platformmedia sales experience (min. 4years)
  • Experience of selling high value event sponsorship and content driven digital solutions
  • Experience of selling creative and multifaceted bespoke commercial solutions
  • Confident, articulate and consultative in your approach to building value
  • Strong new business legacy
  • Good business acumen
  • Stable career history
  • Passion for and/or high level contacts within either Global Development, Technology or Sustainable Business
