Overview

Speech & Language Therapist (SLT)

I am currently accepting applications from Qualified Speech & Language Therapists (Band 6) - Dysphagia competent

As an SLT, you will build relationships with a variety of health professionals and improve the lives of patients from all walks of life. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you can deliver genuine care.

Summary

You will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with disorders of communication and/or swallowing problems. The post holder will report to the Clinical Lead/ Team Leader and will have regular access for case discussion, support and development from senior specialist clinical staff.

Eligibility Criteria

• Relevant third level degree in Speech & Language
• Dysphagia competent - significant training/work experience in dysphagia management including sign off of relevant professional dysphagia competency framework enabling independent management of non-complex cases.
• Proof of HCPC Registration
• Proof of membership of RCSLT
• Right to Work in UK/Northern Ireland.

Salary

Band 6 - HSCNI salary scale
