Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Luxborough, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Work collaboratively within schools and children’s homes, ensuring therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care and support we offer all children and young people
  • Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around children
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
  • Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences
  • Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer
  • Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative
  • Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people
