An independent specialist day school is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their clinical team. The role involves supporting pupils by employing innovative approaches to enhance their communication skills. Candidates should have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, be HCPC registered, and possess good communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Bankside College school. Our Clinical Teams help maintain a person-centred, empowering approach always putting the pupils we support at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and the pupils we support are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them. With this in mind, we are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who shares our vision to use innovative approaches to enhance the quality of life and outcomes of the pupils we support. Location: Bankside College - Worcestershire WR8 0AD - Bankside College forms part of our Options Autism brand, and is an independent specialist day school, supporting children and young people aged 16-24
Salary: £33,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
Hours: 15 hours per week, Flexible on which 2 days are selected
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle, Some understanding of the other differences, e.g. sensory and motor, which may impact on an individual\'s communication strengths, differences, traits, difficulties and needs profile Some evidence of understanding the relationship between arousal levels and communication
