Qualifications

Overview

A Construction Consultancy that leads on Building Surveying projects is looking for a Building Control Surveyor to head their Building Regulation Consultancy. Working closely with a team of Surveyors and Fire Engineers, you will also lead on external enquiries and support the consultancy’s growth as the de‑facto Building Regulation Principal Designer on key design work.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Building Safety Act (2022) and Building Regulation advice to clients and internal colleagues.
  • Support in‑house Building Regulation Principal Designers and ensure a smooth transition toward Gateway 2 applications.
  • Work in close collaboration with a large team of Fire Engineers.
Qualifications
  • Class 2F minimum, required.
  • Experience working on HRBs, required.
  • Knowledge of Building Control/Regulations and Gateway applications, required.
  • Member of a professional organisation: MCABE, RIBA, MCIAT or MICE, required.
