Overview

Specification Manager (Lighting / M&E) – Remote, covering a patch around the West Midlands region

£60,000-£65,000 + Uncapped Commission + Remote Working + Regional Travel + Company Car + Progression + Training + Company Benefits

The Role

• Work on specialist lighting design projects, ranging from £5k to £1m and everything in between.
• Identify and win new business opportunities; generate, identify and quantify leads (80% new business, 20% existing accounts).
• Develop strong relationships with existing accounts, promoting key strategies and liaising with various departments to support client needs.
• Pass quotations to the commercial team, generating quotes and following up.
• Lead projects from conception through delivery; provide design support, project management and technical advice.
• Remote/field role covering the West Midlands region with occasional office visits.
• Uncapped commission to increase earnings.

The Person

• Specification Manager or similar
• Lighting / M&E background
• Happy to cover a patch across the West Midlands Region (Worcester, Stafford, Hereford, Warwick, Shropshire and surrounding areas).

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Identify and win new business opportunities within the West Midlands lighting market.
• Consult on design considerations and provide technical guidance to clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Remote working with regional travel; ability to manage your own diary.
