A large healthcare provider in North West England is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care for individuals in acute mental health crises. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to reducing hospital admissions while providing community-based therapeutic interventions.
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an outstanding Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHT) in the Mid Mersey Division. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, while working within a highly skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team. The CRHT operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing intensive support to service users in the least restrictive environment. The team plays a vital role in reducing hospital admissions and supporting recovery at home. Base: Harry Blackman House, St Helens. Additional Sites: The Brooker Centre (Halton) & Knowsley Resource Centre (Knowsley).
Case allocation is done following MDT meeting appropriate criteria for referral being met. There is an expectation that you will provide supervision to the NMP in the team and also to the junior medical staff. This will be incorporated into the job plan.
