An NHS mental health service in Birmingham is seeking a psychiatrist to work within the Older Adults & Specialities services. This role involves assessing new patients and providing ongoing treatment for those in the community mental health team. Applicants must be GMC registered, with experience in old age psychiatry. BSMHFT is excited to present our progression posts for psychiatrists interested in working towards entry onto the Specialist Register via the CESR route. We currently have one vacancy within our established Older Adults & Specialities services, based with the South Hub Community Mental Health Team for older adults. The routine work involves assessing new patients referred to the community mental health team and the ongoing treatment and management of patients under the care of the community mental health team.
