We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Specialty Doctor in Care of the Elderly on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.
Our client's department of Care of the Elderly currently comprises three complex care wards, intermediate care, and nurse-led wards. These are in close proximity to the department's office accommodation and outpatient department. There are good multidisciplinary links. The Department of Care of the Elderly is dedicated to providing a seamless service to older people and is working towards the achievement of goals and recommendations.
The post is a Specialty Doctor in Care of the Elderly and will be part of a team including Consultants, Middle Grade, FY2/CT, and FY1 grades. In 2020, the Care Quality Commission rated us as 'Good' overall, and 'Outstanding' for being caring and effective. The Trust has launched its 'Building for our Future' programme, aiming to repair, redevelop, and expand their hospitals, transforming the environment of care for future generations.
